The Association of Research Observatories has worked with ONS and the Royal Statistical Society to bring together users of national, sub-national, local and neighbourhood level data, together in a user group representing their interests.
The Sub National Data User Group (SNUG) steering group met for the first time in April 2009, and provides a voice for users when working with producers and legislators. It also aims to identify, clarify and address issues of importance to users, providing a forum for discussion.
